Top 10 Mutual Fund Company Seeks to Build Marketing-Driven Team
This fast growing mutual fund company was looking to build its brand and a team that could transition the company into a more customer-centric, marketing-driven organization. Engaged by the senior management team to help build the organization, over the course of three years we attracted 23 individuals covering functional areas in brand management, direct marketing, advertising, brand identity, and public relations. Not only was the team successful in driving the development of the brand, but our ability to attract a complementary collection of individuals resulted in a classic example of the whole being greater than the sum of the parts.

Emerging Creative Agency Seeks a President to Drive Next Stage of Development
Charged with helping a creatively-driven ad agency evolve into a balanced, strategic communications agency, we recruited the President to drive this evolution. As a 40-person agency with a roster of well-known, though smaller accounts, our client sought our advice and counsel as to how to attract, from out of market, a seasoned, savvy player who could drive the agency's evolution into a stronger strategic force, while not disrupting the creative success in the agency.

In recruiting the President of this agency out of the New York market, our charge was to find the right balance between strategic thinking and appreciation for the creative product. Completed in less than three months, the individual was able to deliver new business wins in categories previously "untouchable" by this agency.

Top 20 National Advertising Agency Develops Succession Plan
Having developed a stellar reputation within the C-level ranks of this nationally known communications consultancy, we were engaged to assist with building their next generation of management ranging from the EVP/New Business to President of their West Coast office. As the agency was evolving from a traditional advertising model into a forward-thinking communications consultancy, it was our challenge to effectively position the agency in the market and recruit from a national base of talent for several different positions. Having identified and attracted individuals from across the country, we sought to ensure their smooth integration into the agency with a hands-on retention program. The CEO of this agency described the recruitment program that we completed as effectively developing the next generation of leadership in the agency.

Major University Seeks to Reposition itself in the Marketplace
Recognizing a need for a savvy marketer to lead their repositioning, this national research university sought our assistance to identify and attract a Vice President/University Relations to develop and execute a global brand repositioning to advance the university's mission.

We successfully recruited a senior marketing professional with a combination of private sector and higher education experience. This individual designed and implemented a comprehensive, ongoing plan to build brand awareness, meaning and ownership among all internal and external audiences. Motivating a diverse group of communications professionals, the Vice President/University Relations created innovative approaches to reach their target audiences and has successfully repositioned the university.

Working closely with the President and all of senior management, we helped build the team that drove the growth of this organization into one of the top 10 e-commerce consultancies nationally. Utilizing a team approach, we identified and attracted 10 key players over the course of five months leading to tremendous growth.

Top 10 Global Software Company Attracts Senior-level Marketing Talent
We were referred to the CFO of this established, world-class B2B software company by another client. Upon meeting with the senior-team, we were engaged to bring a new level of marketing talent and leadership into the organization. The organization had recently developed new technology solutions, had developed a vision for future growth, and were in need of passionate marketers in various areas of its organization.

Additionally, they were looking for individuals with an entrepreneurial approach and spirit who could help them expand beyond their legacy business into a broader market opportunity. It required that these experienced leaders be part business-person, part marketing professional, and part evangelist. Within a six month period, we successfully introduced a Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President of Product Marketing, Vice President of Integrated Marketing Solutions, and a Divisional Senior Vice President of Marketing.

Institution of Higher Learning Stays Connected to their Alumni
We were retained to recruit a Director of Alumni Relations by a highly regarded, independent university which provides undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a variety of liberal arts and professional areas. As an institution renowned for teaching, scholarship, and research, we sought to attract a Director who would enhance this university's reputation and broaden alumni participation through development and management of a comprehensive alumni relations effort. We attracted a professional from another university while having the opportunity to consider a range of candidates with private, public and higher education experience. Completed in a timely fashion, this individual brought a sophisticated relationship marketing approach that has attracted, retained and stimulated alumni involvement.
