The road to forensic consulting for Jeff began hand drawing details as an architectural intern on Mylar (replaced with the commonly known CAD). In 2005 Jeff graduated with a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Syracuse University and entered the Phoenix work force as a licensed Architect. Beginning in healthcare, Jeff provided design, detail and specifications in his architectural project management role until moving to a well-known Phoenix-based commercial contractor where he worked as a Senior Quality Assurance Project Manager reviewing construction for correctness until joining The Ward Group in October 2017.
Jeff enjoys staying abreast of the always-evolving construction techniques and building systems. With a penchant toward the technical side of architecture, Jeff specializes in building envelope and fenestration interface with both construction and design. Jeff’s experience outlining building details and specifications and ensuring code compliance in both architectural and construction practices creates a natural transition for Jeff into the world of construction forensics.
In addition to his building envelope proficiencies, Jeff is astute in ADA compliance, flooring installation, curtainwall and storefront systems, concrete slabs, Thermal Imaging, and Firestop installation. Jeff is certified in Construction Quality Management for Contractors through the United States Army Corp of Engineers and currently registered with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Jeff is a former member of the American Institute of Architects.
In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife of ten years. You can usually find Jeff enjoying the Arizona climate hiking, camping, running, mountain biking, or outside relishing in his yard and pool. Jeff enjoys traveling and cannot seem to get enough beach vacation time (the only pitfall of living in Arizona!)
